“This is the physical heart of our estate, and has been since it was built in 1870.” -Jim Bundschu
Built in the 1870’s, our historic winery tasting room is bonded winery #64 in the state of California and is a great way to experience the origins of wine tasting in Sonoma. The building now serves as a visitor center, tasting room and gift shop. Sample a pre-selected flight of five estate-driven wines, presented by a dedicated GB host. Learn about our history, wine making practices and get friendly with fellow wine enthusiasts. Wines may include Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, our famous Merlot, cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon, winery-exclusive varietals such as Tempranillo, Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc, and of course, our flagship Vintage Reserve. We reserve the right to add selections at our whim, like seasonal rosés and our award-winning white wines, Gewürztraminer and Chardonnay. Please allow 45 minutes for this tasting.
