If you’re looking for a classic Sonoma wine tasting with a twist, our Rhinefarm Tasting is for you. Kick back on our winery courtyard, in our historic barrel room, or in the lounge at the Bacchus Hideaway as our engaging hosts guide you through a memorable flight of five wines with optional seasonal snack add-ons. Named after our organic estate vineyard “Rhinefarm,” in this tasting you can choose between our Estate flight of five wines or upgrade to our Heritage flight, which includes our old vine, limited production Heritage Wines and 95+ Point Vintage Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Limited to party sizes of eight or fewer.

Picture this: You are exploring the underground world of Gundlach Bundschu in our wine caves and organic vineyards. First, glass of wine in hand, your wine educator will guide you through our wine cave and tell legendary stories of the Bundschu family’s deep roots in California winemaking history. Taste different wines as your walk will venture outside the back cave doors (weather permitting) to learn more about our regenerative organic vineyard, sheep, old vines, and sustainability practices. The tour culminates with a tasting of our Vintage Reserve Cabernet in our majestic cave dining room. Epic, right? Yeah, we think so, too.

$75/person + tax + 18% gratuity.

Climb aboard our Pinzgauer (“pinz-gower”), a Swiss Army transport vehicle, for an off-roading experience across Rhinefarm. Cruise through our regenerative organic vineyards with a glass of wine in hand as your guide takes you on a journey of our history as the oldest family-owned winery in California and what makes our wines so unique. You’ll stop at several spots in the vineyard including an enclave amongst the vines to taste two wines alongside cheese and charcuterie. Back in the tasting room, your experience culminates with a splash of our icon Cabernet, Vintage Reserve. What happens on the pinz stays on the pinz, so if your friends back home want to know, well, they’re just going to have to see for themselves.

$105/person + 18% gratuity. Please no children under 12 or pets. Non-drinkers pay half price.

This laid-back member’s only hideaway is the place to be. The Hideaway is family and pet-friendly and makes for the perfect afternoon to kick back, play lawn games, or just hang and enjoy your favorite GB wines. Members can reserve one of your complementary quarterly tastings in this location or stop by any Saturday or Sunday to enjoy bottle service and snacks at a picnic table or blanket, all at your member price.
