Our Old Redwood Barn Featured in the Press Democrat!
Quake-Damaged Sonoma Winery Barn Saved for Another Century The Press Democrat, January 8, 2015
On paper, it’s not the kind of expense that would pencil out for a publicly traded corporation. But at Sonoma’s Rhinefarm, where six generations of Gundlachs and Bundschus have worked its fertile, clay-loam soil, typical business formulas don’t apply in the face of 150 years of history and tradition.
Join us for our new tasting experience in our barrel cave. The pairing is hosted by one of our two in-house CMS-certified somms, who pour some of our extremely small production, limited release wines that are not available to be tasted anywhere else. These wines include our Heritage Selection and Vintage Reserve wines. Enjoy these wines alongside gourmet food pairing bites carefully crafted and created in coordination with a private chef. Up to six people, by appointment only, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., $75
Heritage Pairing Experience Reservations by Appointment only (please contact us at least 48 hours in advance): email firstname.lastname@example.org
When your heritage stretches back to 1858, you know that a wine deserving of that designation is the real deal. And our Heritage Selection wines are certainly that. The wines have quickly made their share of fans. The Spring 2014 Allocation is sold out. Our 2011 Merlot, Heritage Selection ($65/bottle) and 2011 Pinot Noir, Heritage Selection ($55/bottle) were all spoken for before the end of June. Get on the list for the 2015 allocation offering the fantastic 2012 vintage selections. The wine is available in extremely limited quantities and by allocation only.
