Group Reservations
Thank you for thinking of Gundlach Bundschu Winery as a must-stop place for your upcoming visit to Sonoma. As our tasting room is small and intimate, we cannot host groups of 8 or more in that location. We can offer groups of 8 or more, their own private experience in our bungalow, picnic arbor and other locations around our beautiful properties. There are three experiences that we can offer year round for groups of 8-90** people. Reservations are required.
Tasting Only: Guests will be greeted with a brief introduction to the winery and led to a private tasting area in which guests will taste through five of our estate wines. $20 per person, allow 30 minutes.
Seasonal Tour & Tasting: Our tours change seasonally to focus on winemaking activities, so the path is always different through the vineyards and around the estate, however you will always learn a bit about our 154 year history and learn how we make the highest quality estate grown wines. Includes a tasting of 5 estate wines. $20 per person, allow one hour.
Trivia Tour: Ready for a little twist in wine country? This ultra-fun experience is great for family reunions, birthday celebrations, bachelorette parties and fun-seeking, competitive groups! Your host will separate your party into two teams which will battle it out for a great prize and bragging rights! The tour takes you and your party on a trip into the vineyards, a walk through history and explains how we make the highest quality estate grown wines. You’ll be asked wine trivia questions and given team tasks that you must complete to win a prize. The best part is, throughout the tour, you will be tasting our fabulous wines as part of the trivia and challenges! Includes a tasting of 5 estate wines. $30/person, allow 75 minutes. **40 Person maximum.
Library Tasting: For an elevated, seated tasting experience, our Library tasting is the perfect fit. Your host will walk you through three of our family’s exclusive wines, Gewurztraminer, Tempranillo and Cabernet Franc. You and your group will taste the current vintage side by side with a library vintage to explore and understand how our wines age. $35/person, allow one hour. **40 people maximum.
Adventure Race: In our family and company tradition of fun and camaraderie, we have created The Gun Bun Adventure Race! Your group will travel across our property to places rarely granted access to the general public. Your group will be split into two (or more) groups and learn a bit about our history, taste wine and compete in interactive challenge stations. Getting to each station will be a challenge in itself, as teams will need to work together to solve clues that lead to the next stop on their journey! While racing to complete all of the tasks spread out across our beautiful property, groups will rely on teamwork, problem solving skills, leadership and a lot of laughter to rise and become the triumphant winning team. Winners will receive a great prize and bragging rights. This is a unique experience your friends, families or colleagues will never forget! Include 5 tastings, stainless steel water bottle and a fruit and cheese reception at the conclusion of the race. Call for pricing and details. Allow 2 hours. ** 60 person maximum.

* As we are fortunate for beautiful weather, we can host groups of over 100 people for a outdoor tasting of up to 5 wines.
