This medium-bodied Pinot Noir has a round structure that draws the ripe fruit flavors through a lingering finish of warm black plum, mineral and earth.
A small quantity of fruit is sourced from the Vadasz Vineyard to produce a wine exclusively for the Gundlach Bundschu Wine Club. Les & Judy Vadasz grow their Pinot Noir on the western side of Sonoma Valley, at the foothills of Sonoma Mountain. Two clones of Pinot Noir comprise this wine: Dijon 115 and Dijon 667.
After 15 months in barrel, the wine was lightly filtered to bottle.
