Jessica Koga earned a degree in Viticulture & Enology from the University of California at Davis.
After graduating in 2004, Jessica worked as enologist for Schramsberg Vineyards in the Napa Valley.
During her tenure at Schramsberg, Jessica worked with the winemaking team to develop the early vintages of the winery’s Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon.
In 2007, Jessica expanded her winemaking skills by working harvests at Cloudy Bay Vineyards in Marlborough, New Zealand, and Bedell Cellars on Long Island, New York.
The following year, Jessica joined Gundlach Bundschu Winery as enologist. Jessica shares the Bundschu family’s dedication to sustainability. She adds, “Sustainable farming, and ideally organic farming, are ideal for producing the balanced, refined wines we make at Gundlach Bundschu.”
